PTI woman leader granted interim bail

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday granted interim bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) woman leader Nadia Khattak until January 10 and directed her to appear before the relevant courts.

A single bench of the PHC Justice Kamran Hayat Miankhel heard the petition for interim bail.The court was informed that the federal government had registered cases against the petitioner Nadia Khattak, a resident of Nowshera, in Islamabad and Attock.

The lawyer pleaded that the petitioner wished to appear before the relevant courts but feared arrest.He prayed the court to grant her interim bail to enable her to appear before the respective courts.The court granted interim bail to Nadia Khattak until January 10 and directed her to appear before the relevant courts within the stipulated time.
