PESHAWAR: The local police arrested an official of the Excise Department allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom, an official said.The official said the Bhanamari police arrested an assistant sub-inspector of the Excise Department for allegedly kidnapping locals for ransom and collecting Rs300,000 from them. The official said the looted money and cellphone was recovered from the accused.
