KP govt announces relief package for Bannu victims

BANNU: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a relief package worth Rs380 million for the victims of the firing incident at the Bannu Aman Pasoon.

Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Pakhtoon Yar Khan said that the chief minister had approved the disbursement of compensation.Under the relief package, the families of those who lost their lives will receive Rs3 million each, while the injured will be compensated with Rs1 million each. The funds have been released to provide immediate support to the affected families, he said.

Expressing his gratitude to the chief minister, Minister Pakhtoon Yar Khan said, “I had promised that the victims and injured would receive a relief package.”The minister said that the provincial government was committed to providing justice to the affected families and vowed not to let any victim be overlooked.

He reiterated the government’s dedication to improving law and order in Bannu and prioritizing the welfare of people.Pakhtoon Yar promised to initiate large-scale developmental projects in the district, saying, “We aim to transform Bannu’s landscape through projects worth billions of rupees. Development work will begin soon.”
