ABBOTTABAD: The six-day training workshop empowering young minority community members concluded here on Saturday.
Organised by Lizan Corporation in collaboration with Auqaf, Hajj, Religious & minority Affairs Department KP, the workshop was aimed at enhancing youth leadership, communication, and career skills. About 80 participants from diverse backgrounds, including Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and Bhai communities were provided training at the workshop.
Commissioner, Hazara Division, Syed Zaheerul Islam, who was chief guest at concluding ceremony, emphasised the importance of continuous hard work for achieving success. Provincial Deputy Secretary Minority Affairs Nadeem Akhtar announced Rs1 billion for minority development on behalf of the provincial government.
MNA Manzoor Masih urged minority youth to capitalize on this opportunity, highlighting the KP government’s efforts in promoting minority rights.
