PESHAWAR: The district administration, in collaboration with the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) has demolished encroachments and constructions in the Karkhano Markets area.
The operation targeted illegal structures that had encroached upon roads and footpaths, hindering pedestrian movement and exacerbating traffic congestion in the area. Heavy machinery was deployed to dismantle dozens of unauthorized structures, and 23 individuals were arrested for their involvement in setting up these illegal establishments. Authorities have stated that legal proceedings will be initiated against those apprehended.
