QUETTA: Despite restoring internet and cell phone services in Gwadar and opening closed roads by the provincial government the protest and sit-ins of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) continued in Quetta, Noshki and Gwadar on Sunday.
The Balochistan Senior Minister for planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi who was part of the negotiation team of the government, has confirmed that the government has started implementation on the agreement signed after many rounds of negotiations.
He said that a large number of arrested supporters and workers of BYC has already been released and more would be freed. He said that under the agreement, the people against whom FIR were registered would be released by Monday after completing judicial formalities for quashing the registered cases.
