PESHAWAR: Police claimed killing two alleged terrorists during an action in the Badaber area on Thursday.It was reported that one alleged terrorist, Maaz, was being taken for identification of hideouts of his accomplices when other members of the gang allegedly attacked the party of the Counter-Terrorism Department.
The police said an encounter ensued for 30 minutes during which the terrorist in custody Maaz alias Umar was killed.The CTD commandoes returned the fire and killed one of the attackers. A commando was allegedly hit in the chest but remained unharmed because of wearing a bullet-proof jacket.
