DIR: The six-day Inter-Departmental Sports Festival concluded at the Dir Sports Complex.
The district sports office had organised the tournament in collaboration with the district administration.
Speaking on the occasion, MPA Yamin Khan appreciated the officials concerned for organizing the event in a successful manner. “Such positive activities increase the competitive spirit among youth,” he added.
Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali said that over 400 players and 25 teams participated in the tournament. “We provided the government employees to showcase their talent in various games,” he added. He said that similar tournaments would also be organized for street children as under 13 children to encourage them to exhibit their talents.
District Sports Officer Siddiqullah thanked the guests, players, and citizens for their participation in the tournament.
