The court issued a written directive for FIR against SHO Shakirullah and other police officers involved in the raid on the house of Ajmal Khan Mohmand advocate. The hearing was conducted on a petition submitted by the Peshawar Bar Association on behalf of Ajmal Mohmand, who alleged that his house was raided illegally by the Gulbahar cops.

The court was informed that the raid was conducted without female constables and without a search warrant, during which the elderly mother of the lawyer was allegedly mistreated. The petition claimed that the police took Rs500,000 and important documents from the house during the raid, violating the sanctity of the home.

It said that despite filing complaints with the SSP operations and other relevant officers, no action was taken against the police personnel involved. The court, after reviewing the arguments, issued a brief written decision, noting that the police did not deny conducting the raid in their response. Therefore, the court ordered the SHO of the relevant police station to file a case against the officers involved.Copies of the court’s decision and the 22-A petition were sent to the SHO concerned to ensure compliance with the court orders.
