MARDAN: The 2024 final year project exhibition and job fair was inaugurated at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan on Wednesday.

Commissioner of Mardan division Shaukat Ali Yousafzai and District Police Officer Zahoor Babar Afridi, along with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Imran Khan, inaugurated the event.It saw the presence of Registrar Dr Murtaza, Prof Dr Usman, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science, Prof Sadaqat Jan, Dr Tariq Sadad, Director Oric, and heads of all teaching departments of UET Mardan, along with representatives from various colleges and universities in Mardan, including Islamic International College, Peshawar Model College, and the University of Technology Nowshera.

Students from various engineering disciplines showcased their final-year projects, demonstrating innovation and technical expertise.Representatives from various industries of Pakistan also participated in the job fair, interviewing the UET students and commending the quality of their projects. A press release said the UET Mardan, as one of the country’s premier universities, promotes academia-industry linkages for the betterment of the community and Pakistan.
