LAHOREL: Partly cloudy weather was recorded in the city here on Saturday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said continental air was prevailing in most parts of the country while a shallow westerly wave was still present in northern parts.
They predicted that mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country while hot in southern parts. However, light rain-wind/thunderstorm was likely in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Waziristan, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and Potohar region.
Rainfall was recorded in several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Balochistan.
Saturday’s highest maximum temperature was recorded at Jacobabad and Shaheed Benazirabad where mercury reached 38°C while in Lahore it was 34°C and minimum was 17.6°C.
