PESHAWAR: Former federal minister Arbab Alamgir and his spouse have reportedly reconsidered their decision to quit the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
The family had decided to quit the Pakistan People’s Party a few days back, citing personal reasons.The Central Deputy Information Secretary of the PPP Asma Alamgir had also resigned from her position last month.
Though her spouse and former federal minister Arbab Alamgir preferred to remain silent, there were reports that the Arbab family had developed serious differences with the party top leadership and was likely to part ways with PPP. Some political parties had also approached him to join their parties and it was said that he might join Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
