DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Five people, including a woman, were killed and 12 others sustained injuries when a truck rammed into a pick-up at a steep slope at Sarobai area in Darazinda tehsil in Dera Ismail Khan district, official sources said on Friday.
The sources said the truck descending the slope at Sarobai hit the pick-up vehicle. The two vehicles fell into the gorge, which resulted in the deaths of five people, including a woman. About 12 people were injured in the road accident.
Rescue 1122 Media Coordinator Azaz Mahmood said that a team of Rescue 1122 arrived at the spot after learning about the road accident. He said that the injured were rushed to a hospital. The official said that two vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.
