Students urged to work hard for name and fame

PESHAWAR: The speakers at a gathering on Monday urged the law students to work hard, not compromise on principles and honesty to make a name and fame in their career.

They were speaking at a function in the Frontier Law College, which was organized to welcome the new BS session. Peshawar High Court Bar Association President Tariq Afridi, VP Supreme Court Neelam A Khan, principal of the college, Justice (retd) Syed Yahya Zahid Gilani, and founder of the college Akhtar Ali Khan spoke on the occasion.

“Don’t make it only a money-making profession. People will respect you only for your honesty and integrity,” Tariq Afridi told the students.“Many of you would become judges, bureaucrats and budding lawyers but you must not compromise on your principles”, he added.

He said the graduates of the college are working on different important positions in the province, nay country.
