PESHAWAR: Homeopathic and herbal medicine practitioners in government hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday demanded the provincial government to announce health professional allowance for them as they were regular employees of the hospitals.Addressing a news conference, president of All Homeo Doctors and Tib Medical Officers Association Hakeem Mohammad Nasir said that about 50 homeopathic and tib medical officers had been performing their duties as medical officers since 2007 in different government hospitals of the province where they attend, treat and advise hundreds of patients on daily basis. However, he said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had ignored the homeo doctors while announcing special packages for MBBS doctors and paramedical staff. He was accompanied by office-bearers of Homeo Doctors Association Dr Ajab Khan, Dr Faheem Shakir, Dr Khaliq Noor, Dr Iqbal Marwat, Dr Najeebullah and others.
