Says PM needs Fazlur Rahman to save his govt, leaders steal money and then lie in assembly

BHIMBER: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said the PTI will focus on devolution of powers after ensuring independent accountability of all after coming into power.

Addressing a huge pubic rally here on Thursday, he said that after winning elections, his party would give a system in Azad Kashmir where the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would be independent. He said if come to power, his party would focus on devolution of powers after ensuring independent accountability of all.

Criticising the government, he said where Rs 5,000 billion loan went that the government took in three years. He said Kashmiris should be given the right to self-determination so that they could decide their future according to their aspirations. He said the time was ripe to change the destiny of Kashmiris and emphasised the importance of the local government system in Azad Kashmir.

He said the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) had awoken and would vote for the PTI under the leadership of former AJK prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood.

He said PM Nawaz needed Fazlur Rahman to save his government and it indicated that the PM was in trouble. He said change was not possible without participation of people. He asked how Nawaz Sharif would bring others’ money back into the country when his own wealth was not here. Leaders stole wealth, sent it abroad and then lied in the assembly, he reiterated.
