Ex-senator included in Soran Singh murder investigation
MINGORA: Minority leader belonging to the Awami National Party (ANP) and former Senator Amarjeet Malhotra was included in the investigation being carried out in connection with the assassination of Soran Singh, special assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister.
The sources told The News that the former senator, a resident of Barikot tehsil in Swat district, was included in the investigation.He was summoned to the office of district police officer, Buner and was interrogated for several hours, the sources added.
Unidentified armed shot dead Soran Singh on Friday last outside his residence in Pir Baba in Buner district. The police have already arrested six persons including PTI district councillor Swat, Baldev Kumar, in connection with the case.
