Bikers kill car driver for honking

Some unidentified bikers killed a car driver over petty issue in the Mustafa Town police limits on Tuesday.

Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy and started investigations. The victim has been identified as Muhammad Khan, 35. He was the driver of a senior doctor Ateeq-ur-Rehman. 

The victim was on his way to pick the doctor from home. As he reached  Mustafa Town and honked to get way, the two bikers started scuffling with him. In the meantime, one of the bikers whipped out a pistol and opened fire at him. As a result, the victim received injuries and died on the spot. Police after being informed reached the scene and collected forensic evidences. 

The accused had fled the scene. Police have started investigating the incident keeping in view all aspects. 

passengers arrested: An FIA team at Allama Iqbal Airport Tuesday intercepted a passenger trying to board a flight with foreign currency worth Rs 1.6 million. 

According to the FIA officials, the passenger was identified as Tauqeer Khan. He was taken in custody when he couldn’t offer any legal document or justification for carrying the amount. He was handed over to Corporate Crime Circle (CCC) of FIA. 

In another incident, FIA Immigration officials intercepted a passenger, Muhammad Afzal, for travelling on forged/fake travel documents. He was handed over to Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of FIA.
