KARACHI: K Electric has filed a petition with the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), seeking 57 paisa increase in per unit rate under fuel adjustment for the month of November 2015.
According to NEPRA, the K Electric has in its petition stated that it supplied a total of 1.21 billion units of electricity during the month of November while the fuel cost born by it rose by Rs700 million for the same month.
NEPRA will come to a decision over the K Electric’s petition after conducting a hearing on January 19.
