Altaf Hussain congratulates PM Raja

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain congratulated Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on becoming the 25th Prime Minister of Pakistan , Geo News reported Saturday.

 

Altaf Hussain, in a statement, said he hopes that the newly elected Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will work to promote democracy, bring stability and take steps to solve the basic problems of Pakistan.

 

The MQM leader also congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari and Federal Interior Adviser Rehman Malik, the statement stated.

Altaf has overseen destruction of Pakistan and his own party at the hands of thugs. It is time MQM look at replacing him selecting a new leader with a vision refusing to be part of the corrupt regime and one with an interest of country in mind. MQM will find to its detriment it will suffer heavily at next polls reduced to a minority party as it has failed to grasp peoples’ anger.
