Premiere of movie

The premiere of the latest Bollywood flick Tamasha was screened under the banner of the IMGC at the Luxus Grand Cinema, Egerton Road, on Thursday evening.
A large number of artistes from film, TV, music and fashion industry attended the premiere as the audience thoroughly enjoyed the screening of the movie starring Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukon. The cast also includes Pakistani veteran actor Javed Sheikh who played as father of Ranbir Kapoor.
“Tamasha”, directed by veteran director Imtiaz Ali, is one of the most sought-after movies of the Bollywood and it has been shot in Corsica, a scenic island in France, as well as other scenic locations in Japan and India. The film’s music is given by Oscar Award winner musician A R Rehman.
Expressing their views, popular artistes admired the story, music, performances and the message of the movie saying that director Imtiaz Ali always chose a different subject, which spreads a definite message and gives hope to the young generation. “Tamasha is based on a powerful subject of everyday life, which will give a message of marching ahead in life to the young generation. The film will be showed in cinemas of Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other cities of Pakistan on Friday (today). —Correspondent
