Karachi The National Accountability Bureau on Thursday arrested an employee of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for allegedly embezzling Rs209 million. He was sent on a seven-day physical remand by an accountability court. Accused Abdul Jabbar used to work as a cashier at a booth of the NBP at Port Qasim, from where he was said to have misappropriated the money in connivance with owner of Murad Shipping Agency, Nasir Murad. He was arrested in compliance of an arrest warrant issued by director general NAB, Karachi.
