Students, teachers condemn French magazine

PESHAWAR: To condemn the French magazine for publishing blasphemous sketches, activists of Muslim Students Federation (MSF) and Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Khyber Pakhtunkhwa staged separate demonstrations here on Wednesday.
Holding banners, the protesters gathered outside the Peshawar Press Club. The protesters urged the government to sever diplomatic ties with France and convene an emergency meeting of the OIC to give a stern response to the West.
The MSF protest demo was led by PML-Q provincial president Intikhab Chamkani, district president Azmat Khan and MSF provincial president and general secretary Nadir Khan and Zafarullah.
They asked the Muslim countries to get united and response to the West. The Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Pakistan KP chapter protest was led by Tanzeem-e-Asatiza central President Khairullah Hawari.
