Rawalpindi : Punjab Emergency Rescue Service 1122 conducted disinfection spray in different residential and commercial areas of the city here on Saturday.
District Emergency Officer Dr Attaur Rehman said Rescue 1122 officials are doing best to keep control on coronavirus pandemic in all the areas and precincts of Rawalpindi.
He said all the staff of Punjab Emergency Rescue Service 1122 in Rawalpindi doing their services round the clock and assisting possible suspects of Covid-19 at quarantine centre established in Rawalpindi adding that officials of Rescue 1122 are spraying disinfectants in all the areas of Rawalpindi.
He stated that on Saturday, Rescue 1122 officials conducted disinfection spay in Commercial Market, Rawalpindi Saddar, railway station, Pirwadhai, Faizabad and at Murree Road and in adjacent residential areas.
District Emergency Officer Dr. Attaur Rehman also appealed to public to stay safe inside their homes, use hand sanitizer and wash hands regularly at least for 20 seconds.
He asked public to use facemask and gloves when they have to come out of their homes in case of emergency.
District Emergency Officer Dr Attaur Rehman also appealed public not to make rush at public places while going out to take milk and grocery at shops.
He said entire nation is united and committed to defeat coronavirus pandemic from Pakistan adding that Rescue 1122 is all set and committed to ensure safety of public against coronavirus pandemic.
