Noor Mukadam murder case: Zahir’s polygraph test conducted

LAHORE: Polygraph test of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in Noor Muqaddam murder case, was completed at Punjab Forensic Laboratory on Friday. The accused kept pretending to be unconscious before the test, sources said. Besides, the accused kept using various tricks even during the test. Zahir’s polygraph test was done by science lab experts in which 20 questions were asked from him.

Earlier, Islamabad Police took accused Zahir Jaffer to Lahore under tight security. Meanwhile in Islamabad, a local court adjourned on Friday the hearing on the bail pleas of parents of Zahir Jaffer. The accused’s parents, Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee, are facing a trial for their alleged role in the murder. Adjourning the proceeding, the court ordered the two sides in the case to furnish conclusive arguments on the next hearing.

Zakir Jaffer’s counsel Raja Rizwan Abbasi and Adamjee’s counsel Asad Kamal appeared before the court.Kamal told the court that he had arrived from Lahore, saying his client, a woman, had been put behind bars without any justified reasoning.
