Shehbaz condemns torture of Balochistan MPAs
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) President and the Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the incident of baton-charge and manhandling of the opposition members of the Balochistan Assembly.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said stopping the opposition parliamentarians from entering the Balochistan Assembly was condemnable, against the parliamentary norms and unconstitutional. He said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government also adopted undemocratic ways in the National Assembly and now the same was adopted in the Balochistan Assembly. He urged the government to resolve the issues of the opposition parliamentarians in Balochistan Assembly and asked the government to fulfil their rightful demands.
