Blood donation camp

LAHORE:Lahore Police, in connection with 'World Blood Donor Day', organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Sundas Foundation at District Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh on Monday.

The World Blood Donor Day slogan for the year 2021 was “Give Blood And Keep The World Beating”. Capital City Police Officer Additional IG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar visited the blood donation camp and reviewed the process of blood donation by hundreds of police personnel of District Police Lines, Anti Riot Force, Dolphin Squad, PRU and traffic police for the children suffering from Thalassemia, Hemophilia, blood cancer and other fatal diseases. DIG Operations Sajid Kiani, prominent analyst and scholar Sohail Warraich, famous artist Khalid Abbas Dar, president Sundas Foundation Yaseen Khan, Columnist Asif Affan, AIG Admin Syed Tauseef Haider, SP Headquarters Imran Malik, senior police officers, doctors and paramedical staff were present on this occasion.

CCPO Lahore while talking with the media persons said that Lahore police is fully aware of its social responsibilities. He announced commendation certificates, cash awards and four-day rest for blood donor police officials. The thirty thousand force of Lahore Police is all the time available for the service to humanity, he commented.
