LAHORE:Punjab IG suspended Defence C SHO for detaining employees of a restaurant for not providing free food to his guests.
SHO Hamad Akhtar along with personnel allegedly closed the restaurant and detained its employees for not accommodating his guests free of cost. IG Inam Ghani took notice of the incident and suspended the SHO.
Vaccination of cops: Punjab IG Inam Ghani has said supervisory officers should complete vaccination for the subordinate force under their personal supervision and reports in this regard should be sent to the Central Police Office regularly.
DIG Welfare told the IG that so far 18,870 officers and personnel aged 50 to 60 years and 22,045 officers and personnel aged 40 to 50 years were vaccinated. He said the process of corona vaccination of officers and personnel in the age group of 30 to 40 years was also in full swing and so far 26,578 officers and personnel in the age group of 30 to 40 years were vaccinated. Collectively, 67,493 officers and officials more than 30 years of age were vaccinated against coronavirus and the remaining force and staff were being vaccinated without interruption.
