Indian troops kill three Kashmiris in Pulwama

ISLAMABAD: Indian troops killed three Kashmiri youths in a violent cordon and search operation in the Pulwama district of occupied Kashmir on Saturday, taking the number of slain young men to nine since Wednesday.
The brutal operation was carried out at the Goripora neighbourhood in the Awantipora area of Pulwama in the morning, according to the Kashmir Media Service. The operation was ongoing as the last reports came in.”
Indian police insisted that two of the slain youths were “militants” while the third one was their “associate” and they were killed in an “encounter” with the troops.
On Friday, two Kashmiri youths were killed during a military operation in the Arwani area of Islamabad district. A similar operation in the Melhora area of Shopian district claimed the lives of four Kashmiri young men on Wednesday. Meanwhile, three soldiers of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force were injured when an unidentified person hurled a grenade at their camp at Dooniwari in the Chadoora area of Budgam district.
