FDE to announce results of class 5, 8 on April 6

Islamabad The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced that the results of the Centralised Examinations of Class V 2020 and Middle Standard Examination 2020 will be declared on April 6 at 10am, while the result gazette will be posted on its website thereafter.

The award distribution ceremony for top exam position holders will take place after the reopening of the educational activities, which are currently closed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

According to a notification of the FDE, all public sector educational institutions in Islamabad will remain closed until May 31, 2020, and the period during which the campuses won't open will be considered to be the summer vacation.

In-house examination (I-IV, VI-VIII) in FDE schools and colleges have already been completed with the exception of few, where 1-2 papers are pending. For those institutions, students will be awarded pass marks in the remaining subjects' examination.

Head of the institutions will announce exam results on April 7. In order to avoid campus gatherings, they can share the results by Facebook, WhatsApp and SMS, while a hard copy of the consolidated results for all classes will be available in the school and college offices for communication in case of any query by telephone.
