Mismanagement
February 19, 2018
Karachi’s garbage has become a serious problem, but the Sindh government is not paying attention to this issue. All areas of the city are converted into a big garbage can where people are disposing of their waste. Many people throw their daily waste on the narrow streets at the back of their houses. These lanes which are wide enough for a car to pass through are now covered with unattended garbage.
The bad odour coming out of the garbage has taken a toll on residents who are tired of filing complaints. It is the responsibility of our elected representatives to deal with people’s issue. The relevant department must take serious steps to provide a safer and cleaner environment to the people.
