Karachi is the most populated city of the country. With an increasing problem, the demand of proper lodging, healthcare facilities, food and water, and other facilities is also increasing. However both the federal and provincial governments have failed to tackle the city’s ever-growing problems. The city lacks in almost every department. Broken roads, poor transportation system, shortage of water, etc. are some of the problems that have made the lives of residents miserable.
The local government has one excuse: it does not have enough resources to tackle all problems. The city is the country’s financial hub. We need more development projects to improve the status of the city. Proper steps should be taken to deal with existing problems of the city to make it the best place to live in. Karachi contributes a lot to the annual revenue. It is time the city got the best treatment.
