Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and its problem are even bigger. Apart from the existing problems like loadshedding, target killing, water shortage the city is facing another serious problem – the blockage of sewerage pipelines. This creates a lot of problems for the citizens of Karachi. Choked sewerage pipelines usually block main roads. Overflowing sewers create difficulties for pedestrians and commuters on wheels. The contaminated water causes a large number of harmful disease like malaria and typhoid.

The sewerage system of Lyari and Mehmoodabad has always been the worst, but nowadays one of the biggest industrial areas of the city, Federal B Industrial Area, is suffering from a lot of sewerage-related problems. Although pipelines get cleaned upon request, they get choked within only a couple of days. The Sindh government and other concerned authorities are requested to take some immediate steps to save Karachi from this nuisance.
