Post-Haj operation to end on October 16

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf Tuesday said the month-long post-Haj operation would be culminated on October 16.
Talking to media persons here, he said the government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) was setting new standards of serving Hujjaj.
The smooth return of Hujjaj was continuing from Saudi Arabia. The Haj operation was a complete success.
Haj arrangements of have widely been appreciated. Helpline remained functional for 24 hours to resolve the issues of Pakistan Hujjaj in Saudi Arabia.
The ministry has also arranged to get feedback from hujjaj aiming to make it better and removing anomalies.
A meeting of Ulema and Mashaikh was convened last week to ensure peace and tranquillity during the holy month of Muharram ul Haram.
Ulema devised a code of conduct to avoid using derogatory language against various sects.
Responding to a question he said the ministry would try to arrange three time meal from hujjaj in Mashair also from next year.
Strict action would be taken against the Haj Group Organiser (HGOs) on proving violation of agreement with Hujjaj.
He said a total of 70 Hujjaj had died natural death during Haj 2016. While only one Haji Abdul Ghafoor of Charsadda was missing. He will soon be located. He said Pakistan s slashed 20 per cent Haj quota is likely to be restored from next year.
