Duchess Sophie's visit to Denmark: Buckingham Palace uses Danish King's photo to share details
King Frederik of Denmark this week hosted Duchess Sophie and others at an AI conference
The Duchess of Edinburgh has visited Copenhagen to attend a summit on child safety in an AI era, said the royal family in a statement on Thursday.
"As Patron of The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, HRH joined key stakeholders to learn about initiatives and proposals to protect young people from AI risks, particularly those related to child sexual abuse," the statement said.
It said, the conference, which was held at Christiansborg Palace, was opened by His Majesty The King of Denmark.
The Instagram account of the royal family also shared multiple photos of Duchess Sophie, with one featuring the King Frederik of Denmark.
The British royal family's statement comes two days after Denmark's royal family released a statement saying Britain's Duchess Sophie attended the conference on artificial intelligence and social media’s impact on the wellbeing of children and young people.
As a mark of respect, the Danish Royal Family featured a photograph of King Frederik with Duchess Sophie as the lead image of their multi-photo carousel post from the event.
Notably, the British royal family used the same lead image, featuring Kin Frederik and Duchess Sophie, for their carousel post on Instagram.
