CTD arrests militant in Orakzai

KALAYA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday foiled a terror bid by arresting a suspected militant and recovering explosives from a house on the Samana Road, official sources said.They said that CTD personnel raided a house on the Samana Road in the Orakzai Agency after receiving a tip-off about the presence of a suspect along with explosives.During the raid, the CTD officials arrested Abdul Rehman, a resident of Landikotal Tehsil in Khyber Agency, along with explosives, including a locally-made bomb, three kilograms of ball-bearings and a hand-grenade, sources said.Following the arrest, the militant was taken to an undisclosed location.
