KARACHI: Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, has launched its Paylink feature, reaffirming its commitment to empowering freelancers with a secure and efficient cross-border payment solution, a statement said on Thursday.

Despite Pakistan being home to over 1.5 million freelancers, contributing nearly $400 million annually in export revenue, the challenge of receiving timely and secure international payments persists.

With Paylink, freelancers can easily generate a customised payment link through the Zindigi app and share it with their clients globally. Clients can pay securely using Visa or Mastercard, while freelancers receive funds in Pakistani rupees (PKR), ensuring both global compatibility and local convenience. The feature also enables users to create professional invoices within the app, offering a unified, streamlined platform for managing both payment requests and invoicing, all in one place.

“At Zindigi, user experience is at the core of everything we do,” said Faisal Khalid, chief product officer at Zindigi. “As we strive to support Pakistan’s rapidly growing freelance economy, Paylink is a testament to this commitment, offering freelancers a fast, secure, and seamless way to receive payments from clients worldwide.”
