KARACHI: The Board of Directors has reappointed Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi as chief executive officer (CEO) of K-Electric, effective July 30.

Alvi joined K-Electric in 2008 and has since held several key positions, including chief financial officer, company secretary, and head of treasury, before being appointed CEO in 2018, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

With 30 years of diverse financial experience, Alvi has focused on transforming the utility into a future-ready entity through digitisation, customer centricity and investments across the energy value chain.
