Muharram security plan finalised
LAHORE: The District Administration of Lahore, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, has finalised a comprehensive and multi-departmental strategy to ensure the peaceful, safe, and orderly observance of Muharram-ul-Haram. In a high-level meeting chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, a detailed action plan was established, assigning specific responsibilities to all relevant civic bodies. The session was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) M Jaffar Chaudhary, all Assistant Commissioners, and senior officials from the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC), Wasa, Lesco, Rescue 1122, Traffic Police, Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL), and the Punjab Food Authority. Key directives were issued to guarantee the smooth running of all activities.
