LAHORE:In anticipation of Muharram-ul-Haram, the Lahore Police Wednesday intensified its crackdown on violators of Punjab Sound System Regulation Act. According to a Lahore Police spokesman, some 861 sound system violators have been arrested and 636 FIRs were registered this year. The CCPO directed divisional officers to maintain a liaison with all stakeholders to ensure peaceful atmosphere.
