Public relief projects to be launched at tehsil level, says Bilal

LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin chaired a performance review meeting here on Thursday.

Secretary Housing Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Special Secretary Tayyab Fareed, and Additional Secretary (Technical) Umar Farooq gave briefings. Parliamentary Secretary for Housing Sultan Bajwa was also present while the Director Generals of Development Authorities and PHAs participated via video link. A detailed discussion was held on the targets achieved during the current fiscal year and the recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year. Bilal Yasin stated that the upcoming fiscal year will be the best year in Punjab’s history in terms of development projects. Public relief projects will be launched at the tehsil level across the province. The chief minister has allocated funds not just for paperwork, but for practical steps as well.
