Rally staged in Kohat to express solidarity with armed forces
KOHAT: Hundreds of Wapda employees staged a rally here to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army and denounce Indian aggression. The rally featured chants against India and the burning of an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the rally, Younas Shah, the provincial deputy chairman of the Wapda Hydro Union, declared unwavering support for the Pakistan Army. “Wapda workers across the country stand shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces,” he said. “We are fully prepared to donate blood if needed.
The Pakistan Army is not just a military institution, it is our pride, our strength, and the guarantee of our national security.”Divisional chairman of Kohat Wapda Hydro Union, Syed Isa Shah, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the workers’ commitment. “Our people are ready to reach the borders even before the army if needed,” he stated. “Modi has forgotten that he has put his hand in the lion’s mouth. Wapda employees are ready at every step to confront Indian aggression.”
Other speakers included Daud Shah, chairman of Rural Wapda Kohat; Abbas Raza, deputy chairman of Rural Wapda Kohat; and Zaidullah, chairman of All FATA Wapda Hydro Union, among others.
