TikToker, cop held over mocking police uniform on social media
LAHORE:The Lahore police have arrested TikToker Kashif Zameer and a policeman after a video mocking the police uniform went viral on social media.
FIRs were registered at Qila Gujar Singh and Sabzazar police stations under serious charges, including PECA sections. According to the FIR, the incident took place during a wedding ceremony where Zameer handed a tray of cash to the policeman and was later seen showering money himself — an act police say insulted the dignity of the force. Officials stated that Zameer also created a fake AI-generated video, altering the uniform’s colour to mislead viewers. Both the TikToker and the involved official were taken into custody.
