LAHORE: The Punjab Police are continuing intelligence-based operations in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan and have achieved significant successes against Kacha criminals through vigorous action.

DPO Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Umar Gondal said this at a press conference on Thursday. He said four dacoits of the Lathani gang have surrendered. They are Nazir Ahmed, son of Dost Muhammad alias Doso, whose head money was Rs2.5 million, Amin Lathani, Yasin Lathani and Ghulam Nabi Lathani. 

Dangerous robbers operating on the Sindh, Punjab border in the Kacha area are involved in heinous crimes such as kidnapping for ransom, dacoity and extortion. 

The Rahim Yar Khan Police have killed 22 dangerous robbers wanted in multiple heinous cases including those related to the martyrdom of 12 police officers in Machhaka. Among the killed were Shahid Lund, Koda Kosh, Shamir Kosh, Hakeem Kosh and Shah Murad Lathani.
