Film writer gets Rs500,000 for medical treatment

LAHORE:The Punjab government Thursday gave Rs500,000 to a distinguished film writer for his medical treatment.
Muhammad Kamal Pasha is undergoing treatment at Services Hospital, Lahore and he had appealed for help to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Punjab Information Secretary Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani visited the writer at the hospital on behalf of the CM and gave him Rs500,000 cheque and a bouquet as a gesture of goodwill. On the occasion, Hamdani lauded the role of Kamal in film script writing which captivated audiences for decades. Kamal has suffered a stroke and gastrointestinal ailments.
