Works of Chinese artist go on display at PNCA
Islamabad: Pakistan National Council of the Arts on Thursday inaugurated ‘Mirror to the Soul,’ a captivating portrait exhibition featuring the remarkable works of Chinese artist Professor Zhao Yingming.
The exhibition, a collaborative initiative between PNCA and ForArtSake, will remain open for the public until March 25. UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Pakistan Mohamed Yahya inaugurated the exhibition along with PNCA DG M Ayoub Jamali, notables, artists and students.
Curated by Amna I Pataudi and Rahat Naveed Masood, the exhibition showcases Professor Zhao's extraordinary artistic talent through a collection of 60 sketches and paintings created in just two months. Professor Zhao, currently pursuing his PhD in Intangible Culture at the National University of Education, Pakistan, comes from a family with an impressive 700-year legacy of artistic excellence.
