Cop shot dead over personal enmity in Bajaur

KHAR: A cop was shot dead in Bajaur’s Salarzai tehsil on Friday due to personal enmity.Head Constable Malik Fazal Reha, was shot dead in Bajaur’s Salarzai tehsil on Friday due to personal enmity. Police officials said armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire on Head Constable Malik Rehan of Mata Shah, resulting in his immediate death.

They said that Malik Fazal Rehan was on his way home in the morning when he was ambushed and shot dead. The attack appears to be a result of personal enmity, they added. Following the incident, the police launched a search operation to track down the culprits. The funeral prayer for the slain cop was held at Bajaur Police Lines, after which his body was shifted to his native village for burial.
