BSEK announces release of materials for practical exams

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Saturday announced the date and release of materials for annual practical examinations.

Officials said that according to the announcement of the BSEK, the annual practical examinations of classes 9 and 10 Science and General Group Regular will be held from March 14 to April 5, 2025.

This was stated by BSEK Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah while giving special instructions to Director Examinations Zaheeruddin Bhutto. He wished that all school heads would play their full role in ensuring conduct of practical examinations in a transparent and peaceful environment.

Director Examinations Zaheeruddin Bhutto said the heads of schools affiliated to the board can conduct all practical examinations of students within the given schedule as per their convenience. Candidates of 2024 or earlier will also take the practical examinations in their schools. All the equipment related to the practical examinations has also been prepared, the details of which are given below:

New Karachi, North Nazimabad, Gulberg, Liaquatabad on March 10; Jamshed Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shah Faisal on March 11; Malir, Bin Qasim, Landhi, Korangi on March 12; Saddar, Lyari, Keamari on March 13; and Baldia, SITE, Orangi and Gadap on March 14 can get the practical examination materials, while all schools can get the practical examination materials on Saturday and Sunday as well.

He further said that all affiliated school heads will download the practical proforma from the official portal of the board to get the practical material and will enter a separate list of the number of candidates participating in the examination of each practical subject in the proforma.

Furthermore, the heads of schools or their representatives can get the examination materials from the examination store of the board office along with a copy of their identity card, office card and the attested practical proforma from 10am to 4pm on the relevant dates. All candidates are informed that they must bring the Practical General with them on the day of the practical exams.

It is important to inform the BSEK about the annual practical exams of the ninth and tenth grades starting from March 14 that a list of students will be released on the board's portal from March 12, in which the roll number, name, parentage and date of birth will be listed. The subject of the practical will also be written. “You will not correct any kind of mistake yourself, but you will inform the board. The board will correct this mistake itself.

The admit card will be issued before the theory exam, in which the exam schedule will be listed.”
