‘Apni chhat apna Ghar programme’: 5,500 houses near completion across province, says minister
LAHORE:Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yaseen chaired a progress review meeting on CM Special Initiative, ‘Apni chhat apna Ghar programme’ here on Thursday. During the meeting, it was briefed that 5,500 houses were near completion across the province while loans have already been issued to 15,000 individuals for house construction.
PHATA DG Sikandar Zeeshan briefed the provincial minister on progress of the programme. The minister directed to gather feedback from the owners of under-construction houses. He also directed to make the complaint cell more efficient. He also emphasised to resolve issues in the loan processing system. He said that the Punjab government aims to target construction of 100,000 houses under this scheme, annually, department need to increase their monthly targets. Sikandar Zeeshan assured that all necessary steps would be taken to accelerate the application screening process.
