LAHORE:The Punjab government has launched a campaign to plant a natural forest in the provincial metropolis as part of anti-smog measures and curbing environmental pollution.
According to the details, the Punjab government has started working on creating a natural air filter along the Ravi River to transform the City of Lahore into an oxygen hub.In a statement issued here on Sunday, Provincial Senior Minister of Punjab Marriyum Aurangzeb stated that transforming the Lahore City into an oxygen hub is the vision and mission of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.The senior minister further said this is a significant and permanent initiative launched by the Punjab government for environmental protection.
